October 10, 2010, Deceptive Business Practices

BEWARE ALMOST BOOKS WITH WRONG COMPANY.

(Q) I called your old 888 number that is on your business cards and got some guy that said he was in Tampa, he just answered the phone "HELLO". When I asked if this was Party Bus USA, he acked like it was and went ahead to try and set me up with a bus, he started telling me they have new busses that were not on the web site so I could not see pictures at this time. It was not till I told him that I was on the SUPER II, and that was the bus I wanted that things started falling apart. He at that time started back tracking telling me that bus was in the shop and it seemed everyone of the busses on your site were not avaiable, just the ones that I could not see. I, at that time (don't know why) asked "this is Party Bus USA isn't it" and at that time he said they were a new company that just got the number and I said your leading me to believe your Party Bus USA and that is not right, and then said go bye. You should look into this because they seem to be trying to take your business and they are not very professional .

(A) I know the company your talking about. They have no busses they just try and book you and take your money then for a fee they give it to another company, this is why they can't show you the bus because they don't even know what type of bus is going to show up AND YOU END ON THE BAD END OF THE DEAL.

August 25, 2009

(Q) I have a question that deals with the server. I am hosting a Bachelor party and have used other buses before never yours. It seems that while we are in clubs our beer and liquor disapeared faster then when we were on the bus. Can we do away with the bartender?

(A) As far as the bartender drinking or taking your liquor, you have every right to let them know that you have one eye on what people are drinking and make them account for the empties. (A) I know of the company you are talking about without you telling me their name. I would be more concerned about the driver and what she does while your not on the bus. I would also tell the girls not to leave money in their purses it will not all be gone just a few dollars but times 30 that is a lot.

We at Party Bus USA, invite you to check your accounting of your Liq. anytime you want and if you have a question bring it up to the driver or just call the company anytime you want we always answer our phone.

March 27, 2009

Mr. Allen,

I love it that your company does not require a deposit or upfront money from the customer. I feel that you are very upfront with the customer in that if the vehicle does not look like I was promissed I don't have to pay and I am not out any money. GREAT JOB

(Q). My problem is that with a no deposit policy WHY do I have to put up a deposit for bringing food on the bus. My people are adults not kids and know how to eat.

(A.) Well Sue, you bring up an interesting point. If your people are responsable adults and are not going to make a mess than you have nothing to loose. The food deposit is given to the driver when he picks you up (not in advance) and if your people don't make a mess it will be given back to you at the end of the night. The only time we feel people don't want to give us a deposit is because they feel they are going to loose it. The deposit will not be waved, if you bring food YOU MUST PUT UP A DEPOSIT, you get it back the same night. I would like to advise you that the deposit is not prorated and if there is a mess the whole deposit is gone until after it is seen what it takes to clean up the mess.

February 12, 2009, DAYTONA 500

Q: We want to rent your SUPER II bus to take us to the Daytona 500, on February 15, 2009. We are planning on leaving about 5 am and returning about 10 pm that night. Why do we have to pay for the bus for some 17 hours, we will only be on the bus for about 8 hours.

A: Well the answer is simple. You don't need to leave at 5 am, to get there that is your choice, so you are adding an extra 5 hours. You also want to know where the bus will be parked so people can come and go, so you will be using the bus the whole day. You also told me that some people may want to come back early that have had to much to drink to sack out. If people are on the bus the bus has to be kept rinning and the a/c on which costs money. I hope you see our point now it looks like your going to use the bus ALL day. You also have to remrmber you received a $55.00 dollar an hour discount for a long rental

December 13, 2008, Christmas Lights

Q: We have your Trolley rented to go see christmas lights. Would there be a problem if when the trolley arrives we put some hay we have purchased on the floor to make it like a hey ride them.

A: I see no problem with that. If you want we would be happy to pick up the hay and have it down before the bus arrives to save you some time.

July 19, 2008, SMOKING night ended.

Q: I rented a bus from you and it cost me $100.00, extra and then our night was ended early, WHY?

A: Well to start you were informed when you booked our bus it was NON-SMOKING, you signed a contract that states ALL buses are NON-SMOKING, before the night started ALL your people were told the bus was again NON-SMOKING. Within the first hour the driver had to inform your people twice to stop smoking or the night would end. The $100.00 dollars was to replace the carpet one of your people burned putting out his Cigarette. Now at that point all your people were told if it happened again your night would end YET someone had to try the driver again. What part of NON-SMOKING do you or your people not understand. The last time it happened you were only like two minutes from leaving a club. If I was driving the night would have ended the first time someone lite up.

May 10, 2008, PROM, Alcohol

Q: I was one of the people that was kicked off the PROM bus for drinking, why was that when I am 21 years of age.

A: What you need to understand is when one or two people on a bus are over 21, that leaves some 30 or more that are not 21 years of age. When the bus you were on was rented the parent (Mr. James) requested that there be NO ALCOHOL, (your problem is not with us) and we have to respect the renters wishes and obay the LAW. OUR advise to is one hang with people your age or get an older girl friend. NO PROBLEM HERE.

March 6, 2008, PROM

Q: hey, Party Bus USA, tell me why you only rent to people 21 years old or older.

A: That is only partly true, we only rent our vehicles to people 21 years and older, YES. I see you are in need of a party bus for your prom, NO PROBLEM, all we ask is you have someones parent book the bus and if they want to let you go by yourselves that is fine with us. Not ALL but there has been a problem with under age drinking, and the LAW is the LAW, no one under the age od 21 can consume alcohol and that is the same with us. We do a lot of Prom's, Home Comings, Christmas Formals, and others, which are mostly young adults under 21, but the NO DRINKING always applies with our company.

December 15, 2007

Q: Allen, I just spoke with Nicole at you office and can you tell me why you have to have a server for a bachelor party?

A: It is like this I am a guy and I know how guys are, why are just looking for a good time and can't take care of themselves. What a server does is more than just look GREAT and serve your drinks. A server, when your party goes into the clubs cleans up after you, takes care of the restroom and dumps the trash as well restocks the cooler and keeps things ready for your return so you can be on your way to the next stop without waiting for someone in your party to do the jobs mentioned above. I hope this has been of some help but your not alone EVERY bachelor party has a server no matter the seze.

February 10, 2006

Q: Al, my brother just booked a bus and didn't call the number for your company that I gave him and the guy wants to come to him and collect the money in advance and we can't even see the bus we would be getting what should I do?

A: Well I am glad you desided to call and not wait for emails. You don't want to give anyone money upfront. We are about the only one that has at full web site so you can see all the buses inside and out. We take a credit card for a deposit and most of the times just collect money for the night when the driver shows up. It seems that companies that collect money in advance we find most of the time don't even show up. I would not give anyone money in advance to someone that doesn't even have a web site to look at the buses they have. i am glad that we were able to stop your brother before he gave up the money and look forward to doing your night

November 21, 2005

Q: Allen, I am planning a party to Pleasure Island in Orlando, how many hours will a trip of this type take? My boy friend wants to bring the big cooler off our boat is this OK? Can you give me any help on where I can buy tickets in advance so I know we have them for that night?

A: Glad you asked because most people don't figure that it takes longer in a bus with people walking around than in a car, plus most make smoke stops and that takes up tim also. If you leave from the Clearwater, Tamp, area in a bus it takes about 1.5 hours with stops we like to figure about 2 hours maybe less. Most of the time party goers like to spend at least 4 hours in Pleasure Island, so with travel time there and back plus 4 hours inside you are looking at a 7 to 8 hour trip. it just depends on how wuch time you want to party in Orlando. as for the boy friends coolers that is a BIG NO, we can't have coolers blocking the isles in the bus so all coolers have to be unloaded into coolers that are built into the bus. (bar area) the best thing is to keep a few beers cold to start and then just bring the beer and the server will ice it down and it will be cold soon. Leave the cooler and the fish smell on the boat for the fish . If you want to save some money the best place we have found to get tickets in advance at is the AAA of Florida. I don't know if you have to be a member but you can call them at 727-398-3120, or the website is www.AAA.com .

I hope we have been of some help. Have fun.

August 17, 2005

Q: Al, we should have listened to the driver. When we were ready to leave the MON"S, one of our guys came up missing. We had to extend for two (2) hours to look for him (didn't fine him). Come to find out he took a cab when we got there and was home sleeping before we even started looking for him. The driver told us after one extra hour he was an adult and would find his own way home. All the guys think I should make him pay us back. HELP ME OUT.

A: Well Kevin, this is a hard one. Being good people you couldn't leave without him, I understand that part, but to extent more than one hour, sorry he is an ADULT. Talk to your friend maybe he will chip in. GOOD LUCK

August 3, 2005

Q: Al, I didn't take your advise and rented from another company J*****'s, it has been some (3) weeks and they still have not returned my deposit. Something didn't sound right when the guy insisted on coming to me and picking up my deposit in cash. Can you help me? Carl

A: Well Carl, in your return email I have sent you contacts of who to turn this guy into, that is about all I can do. This is why at PARTY BUS USA, we only do an authorization instead of a charge, that way you would not be looking for your money now. We at PARTY BUS USA are looking for a way to be able to put your full email on the net for all to see maybe soon. Again GOOD LUCK

May 12, 2004

Q: Al, I see your souvenir section on the web site, what will be in that
section?
UPDATE 8/04 THIS SECTION KNOW OPEN !!!!!!
A: We are sorry, that section is currently under construction but will
be up and running shortly!
The souvenir section will contain different memorabilia like;
t-shirts, hats, koozies, and other items like these.
* ~ A:The Souvenir Section is now up and running!!

September 23, 2003

Q: Al, my friends and I can't decide where to go so we have about
10 places that we must go to, will we have time.
A: Our minimum is 5 hours you can keep the bus as long as you like
just remember the time is running. In 5 hours you can go to about
3 or 4 places it is very hard to try and even think about going
to 10 places in any night.

June 3, 2003

Q: AL, one of the peolple on the bus have had to much to drink and
chunks are forth-coming what should I do.
A: Think hard about losing your deposit. If it happens in the bus
it could be gone, worst place is in the bathroom if they hit the hole OK
(which I doubt) if not the toilet will have to be removed to clean
behind it and YOU LOSE. That is one thing the Server helps out with, looking for the one that doesn't look like there going to make it. That is why you should pay them the BIG bucks. We have a saying "will put them in a trash bag till the bus stops"
(GOOD LUCK ON THIS ONE)

April 12, 2003

Q: AL, My friends and I are going to YBOR when the bus drops
us off do we need to make a time and place for us to be picked up.
A: You very much need to. Parking in YBOR for buses is very hard
to find and the bus may have to move before you get back so make
a pickup time and place with the driver BEFORE leaving the bus
and TELL everyone else that is on the bus. Remember be on time
the bus will not be able sometime to wait very long without
having to move.

July 17, 2000

Q: AL, can we bring food on the bus, and if so what kind.
A: If you are bring food you need to let us know in advance what
you are bring. Some FOODS are not permitted and some require
addtional deposits. Dry food like chips are fine.

Thanks for visiting Party Bus USA
